OLD HICKORY LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
Terms and Conditions

Use of this product constitutes your acceptance of the Old Hickory Warranty and all conditions, limitations, and restrictions set forth herein. If you do not agree to the terms described below, you may return an unused, non-custom product in its original condition with the original proof of purchase to Old Hickory for a full refund.

Customized wood bats may not be returned or exchanged for a refund.


Eligible Products

Old Hickory Bat Company offers a limited warranty on the following wood bats:

60-Day Limited Warranty:

- Custom Pros
- Steel Pressed
- High Density Series (HDS)

30-Day Limited Warranty:

- Drop 5 Series
- Youth Bats


The following products are not covered under any warranty: Black Label bats, Commemorative/Trophy bats, Sale/Clearance bats, apparel, accessories, and all other non-bat products.


Wood Bat Warranty

Every bat made by Old Hickory is handcrafted to exact specifications. We take tremendous pride in making the best wood bats on the market, and every bat is thoroughly inspected by our production team before it leaves our facility.

That said, hitting a baseball at high speeds with a natural piece of wood will occasionally result in breakage. If your bat breaks within the applicable warranty period and there is no evidence of misuse or abuse, Old Hickory will provide a one-time bat replacement.

Warranty claims are eligible for bat replacement only. No monetary refunds will be issued under the warranty.

Warranty coverage applies to bats purchased directly through Old Hickory or through an authorized retailer. All warranty claims must be submitted directly to Old Hickory — do not return your bat to a retailer for a warranty claim.


What’s Not Covered

The following are examples of misuse or abuse that will not be covered under warranty:

- Contact made outside the sweet spot (down by the logo or toward the end cap)
- Hitting on the back or front side of the bat (contact must be made with the logo up or down)
- Water damage
- Hitting anything other than baseballs (including dimple balls)
- Slamming the bat down
- Chipping of paint
- A collapsed cup that does not affect bat performance


How to Submit a Warranty Claim

What you’ll need:

- Proof of purchase (required)
- Photos of the bat and the damage

Important Deadlines and Timelines:

- Your bat must be received by Old Hickory within 14 business days of submitting your claim.
- Please allow 3–4 weeks for your claim to be processed and a replacement bat to be shipped.
- Each bat purchase is eligible for one replacement only.

All return shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

For international claims: The customer is responsible for all international shipping charges, duties, and taxes prior to a replacement bat being issued.


Returns & Exchanges:

Custom ordered wood bats are only eligible for return or exchange due to breakage within the warranty period or receipt of an incorrect order.

Exchanges (non-custom items): If you purchased your non-custom item directly through Old Hickory, you may exchange it within 30 days of purchase. Items must be new, unused, in their original packaging, and include proof of purchase. Old Hickory will not exchange engraved or used bats. If you exchange for a different priced bat, you will be charged or refunded the price difference. Replacement product will ship within 14 business days.

Returns (non-custom items): If you purchased your non-custom item directly through Old Hickory, you may return it within 30 days of purchase. Items must be new, unused, in their original packaging, and include proof of purchase. Qualifying returns will receive a refund to the original payment method within 5 business days of processing. Refunds do not include original shipping and handling costs and are subject to a $10.00 restocking fee.
